Located at the corner of SW Broadway and SW Jackson Street, Portland State University's Native American Student and Community Center is a place of gathering. It is a home on campus where Native American, Alaskan Native, and Pasfic Island Indian Service Organization students find academic and social support. The Center welcomes the greater Native Community to PSU's campus, providing opportunities for shared learning.

Portland State takes pride in the development of the Center in collaboration with the Native American community. The construction and operation of the Center has enhanced PSU's partnerships with Oregon's nine tribes, Native American culture groups, and regional and national organizations serving Native people. It is the only facility of its kind in the greater metropolitan region - where approximately 20,000 American Indian and Alaskan Natives reside.

The Center offers opportunities to enrich the student experience through links with tribal leaders, Native American professional and community activities, and Indian service organizations.
